Container Setup
  1. Remove cap and using funnel, fill to Water Fill Line with tap water - discard funnel after initial water fill and replace cap securely
  2. Inscribe In Service Date on front of container
Instructions for Deactivation and Disposal
  1. Remove cap; place pills, patches, liquids, creams or films inside container
  2. Replace cap securely and track medication on front of container or as instructed by your organization
  3. Agitate container after each deposit to ensure proper mixing
  4. Dispose of container and entire contents according to all federal, state and local regulations once container capacity guidelines have been reached
*To deactivate and dispose of transdermal patches, attach the sticky side of the patch to a facial tissue and insert into the Deterra container
